Eastmanville Bridge

The first permanent span at Eastmanville was a swing bridge, built in 1916 at a cost of $39,000….In the early days of its existence the bridge was opened quite frequently, but as river traffic slowed, the mechanism eventually rusted shut….When the bridge was replaced in 1968, it cost $647,213.  It was rebuilt again in 1998.
