You'll join film lovers in over 500 venues across the globe gathering to see the Ten Finalists in this year's event. With past finalists garnering Oscar nominations and short films continuing to move into the Hollywood mainstream, come see this entertaining program featuring the best short films in the world today!

The Ten MANHATTAN SHORT Finalists hail from seven countries with films from Spain, Israel, the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Belgium, and Mexico, alongside three films from the USA.
The MANHATTAN SHORT Final Ten are:
Em & Selma Go Griffin Hunting (USA), Al Fresco (Spain), Chasing the Party (USA), Paradise Man (USA), We Have Sinned Before You (Israel), I Have My Reasons (United Kingdom), Ovary-Acting (Norway), Beyond Silence (The Netherlands), Zodiak (Belgium), Passarinho (Mexico).
Every Film Selected for MANHATTAN SHORT 2025 will be Automatically Qualified for the Oscars of 2026. MANHATTAN SHORT does a full week's run at a cinema in Hollywood which is advertised in the LA Weekly. This advertised run automatically qualifies each film for the Oscars. In 2024, four of our Finalists were Short-Listed for the Oscars of 2025, with two films being Nominated, including the eventual Winner "I'm Not a Robot".
